CUET-UG 2025 Results Out: Historic 100 Percentile in 4 Subjects by Star Candidate

The Common Entrance University Test results for Undergraduate 2025 were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday. The NTA claims that one applicant received 100th percentile scores in four of the five subjects. In three subjects, up to 17 candidates achieved the 100th percentile score. To unveil the best-performing candidates across the test, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the aggregate scores of the top 20 CUET UG 2025 performers. The highest total score is an unbelievable 1,225.93, which is the worst score ever recorded across five subjects.

Following scores between 1,210.10 and 1,176.44, the remaining top performers, who demonstrate exemplary performance and consistency across their aforementioned subjects, also show exceptional scoring capabilities.

The aggregate marks are calculated using normalised NTA scores in five subjects, which the colleges may or may not use to form their merit lists. Most likely, the top 20 candidates listed will be the most auctioned candidates for admission to universities such as DU, BHU, and JNU. Participating universities and organisations will create a merit list. The NTA's CUET (UG) scorecard for 2025 will be used by universities to make counselling decisions.

With 13,54,699 distinct registered candidates, the NTA is prepared to administer the CUET (UG)-2025 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. 10,71,735 candidates took the test, which was administered from May 13, 2025, to June 4, 2025.

Candidate Count by Category

With approximately 6.1 lakh registrations, of which approximately 4.75 lakh candidates appeared, the General category saw the highest level of participation. The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category came next, with roughly 3.6 lakh candidates showing up and 4.4 lakh registered.

There were approximately 1.4 lakh registrations and 1.15 lakh appearances in the SC category, compared to nearly 84,000 registrations and 62,000 appearances in the ST category. About 60,000 of the approximately 73,000 registered candidates in the EWS category took the test.
