Shefali Jariwala Passed Away After Cardiac Arrest, Source Points to Anti-Ageing Drugs

Bigg Boss Contestant and Model Shefali Jariwala passed away around 1 AM on Friday night.
Her last rites were performed in Mumbai, attended by a few family members and some close friends.
The sudden death of actress Shefali Jariwala has left her family devastated. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, who is also an actor, is in deep shock. The unexpected demise of the actress has also prompted the police to take swift action. They have recorded statements from the family members and seized some evidence from the residence, which has been sent for forensic examination.
According to sources, it has come to light that Shefali had been taking anti-ageing medication for the past few years, including receiving a monthly injection. On June 27, there was a religious ceremony (puja) at her home, for which Shefali was fasting. Despite fasting, she also took her scheduled anti-ageing injection that day, which is believed to be a potential cause of her cardiac arrest.
About four hours after taking the injection, around 10 PM, she began feeling unwell—her hands and legs started trembling, and she collapsed unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital immediately. At that time, Shefali, her husband Parag, her mother, and a few others were present at home.
The forensic team has seized certain items from Shefali Jariwala's house for investigation, including her vitamin supplements, anti-ageing vials, and gastric pills.
Meanwhile, the police have taken statements from several individuals, including family members, household staff, and doctors from Bellevue Hospital. The next course of action will be based on these statements and the forensic report, as the official cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Further action will depend on postmortem findings and chemical analysis.
According to sources, Shefali suffered a cardiac arrest around 10 PM. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, rushed her to the hospital, where doctors declared her "dead on arrival." Visuals of Parag Tyagi crying outside the hospital have also surfaced.
Shefali first gained recognition with the 2002 superhit music video Kaanta Laga, which was a massive success at the time.
She later appeared in the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.
In the following years, Shefali entered the television industry. She participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her husband Parag Tyagi, and later entered the Bigg Boss 13 house as a contestant.
